Overview
Pedro is an experienced ICT Specialist, with extensive infrastructure expertise in a number of industries. A self-starter with over ten years’ working experience, his career has progressed from an early role as a part-time helpdesk analyst to becoming a diligent consultant through his own merits. Pedro has a diversified commercial experience, having developed solid relationships within several industries, such as manufacturing, logistics, energy, e-commerce, IT service delivery and finance.
His strong inter-cultural and language skills, together with his enthusiasm and ability to quickly integrate and absorb new tasks, makes Pedro a great contributor to diverse and dynamic teams.
Experience
In 2009, Pedro returned to Brazil to work with his family and dedicate his free time to personal projects.
In 2007 Pedro worked with prominent Micosoft Gold Partners as a Microsoft Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint and related technologies.
In 2005, Pedro decided to work as an independent IT consultant through contract and freelancing, particularly focusing in knowledge/content/document management (e.g.: Microsoft SharePoint), at the same time as focusing on his postgraduate studies.
In 2004, Pedro worked as a project manager at EBS and was responsible for the migration co-ordination of their legacy trading system to their new BrokerNet platform, assigned with a portfolio of over 90 clients throughout England, Ireland, Scandinavia, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland. The BrokerNet project was voted Best Global Deployment in the 2006 American Financial Services Technology Awards.
In 2002, Pedro worked as a multilingual support engineer at Intel Networking Support department, supporting Intel security and e-commerce devices. He then joined Business Objects in 2003 as a multilingual support engineer for their Business Intelligence delivery platform.
Upon his arrival to London in 2001, Pedro worked as an IT administrator for Dooyoo; an e-commerce company, and was later responsible for the ICT infrastructure management of all of their European offices.
In 1996, whilst in Montevideo, Uruguay, Pedro started working at his family’s business on manufacturing, logistics and energy. Later he progressed to give independent consultancy to different companies amongst these and other industries, often traveling in South America. In 1998, Pedro helped his family to found an Internet Service Provider, which at a given stage became the third largest in the Country.
